Worksheet for HTTP Proxy settings

The HTTP proxy settings in the IBM® Emptoris® Strategic Supply Management Installer are connection settings for the Emptoris HTTP Proxy server.

The HTTP proxy settings are listed in the following table.

Topology Configuration

Enable Pod Configuration This option is used to install an HTTP Proxy server for each Emptoris application. It is most commonly used when multiple Emptoris Contract Management servers are installed behind a load balancer.  
Install test perimeter web server This option is to install a sample Apache configuration showing how to route requests to the Emptoris HTTP Proxy.  
IP Configuration

Prefer IPv6 Use this option to use IP v6.  
Hosts file File that contains the mapping of host names to IP addresses that should be used in the configuration when performing host name resolution.  
Allowed Referer Domains
Allowed Referer Domains By default, the HTTP Proxy module blocks non-GET requests where the Referer header of the request is not that of the Emptoris installation.
