Modules

Apart from serving as a portal to access different IBM® Emptoris® products, Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform consists of the following modules:

User Management
Organization Management
Supplier Management
Category Management
Location Management

User Management Module
Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform consists of users and contacts. Users and contacts can be either internal users (buyer users), external users (supplier users), internal contacts, or external contacts.
Organization Management Module
In Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform, administrators can create organizations.
Emptoris Virtual Supply Master Module
Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform also consists of Emptoris Virtual Supply Master module integrated within the application. This module is accessible to administrators with data stewards, data creators, or data viewers role.
Category Management and Location Management
The Emptoris Virtual Supply Master repository is also a central repository containing a list of categories and regions. Users with appropriate roles can create categories and regions in Emptoris Virtual Supply Master.
