Batch Uploads

By using the Batch Uploads module, you can upload or import business objects, such as suppliers, categories, regions, users into Emptoris® Virtual Supply Master in batches.

The files that you use for uploading and downloading business objects in batches are known as batch upload definitions. A user with appropriate permissions can create batch upload definitions for various business objects in Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform. Batch files can be uploaded in the following file formats:

• Microsoft Office Excel
• CSV
• TXT
  Note: You must specify a field delimiter used in the text file.
• Fixed width

You can run batch upload definitions only in the language that they are created.
