Database server

The installation of Emptoris® Contract Management has some database server requirements.

The requirements for the database server are as follows:

Hardware requirements

  • Type: Physical machine
  • Number of CPUs: 8
  • Processor: 2.0 Ghz, two Sockets, four Core, with HT (or equivalent)
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • Free disk space: 40 GB
    Note: The number of processors and memory requirements depend on the implementation size. Larger database sizes require extra memory and processors.

Software requirements

  • Oracle 11g database Server, Standard, and Enterprise version 11.2.0.3 or other higher version of 11 release (64-bit)
  • Operating system: No specific requirement, Oracle database server must work on the operating system
