You can add different types of widgets to a dashboard to
display various information at a glance.
About this task
The Jazz® Team Server supplies a number of general widgets that you can add
to a dashboard. Jazz Team Server applications can contribute an extra set of widgets that
are specific to that application's function. All available widgets
are displayed together in the widget catalog.
Procedure
- Click the Add Widget icon (
) in the upper-right corner of the dashboard. A
Widget catalog opens and displays the available widgets
that are grouped in categories:
- In the Select Catalog field, choose
the application from where to add widgets.
- In the Select Category section on
the left, choose a category to limit the number of widgets displayed.
Note: You can also search for specific widgets or widget types
by using the search field.
- Click the widget to see a description and a preview image.
- To add the widget to the dashboard, click the Add icon (
). The widget
is added at the top of the leftmost content column.
What to do next
After you add a widget, you can modify its content, scope
(if applicable), appearance, and location on the dashboard. Save all
changes before you close the dashboard.
To remove a widget from
the dashboard page, click the Close icon (
) in the upper-right
corner of the widget.
