Creating a project in the Red Hat OpenShift

A project allows the organizing and managing of the content in the Red Hat® OpenShift® for Engineering Lifecycle Management on Hybrid Cloud.

Before you begin

A user with the cluster-admin role can create a project in the cluster. For more information about the user roles in theRed Hat OpenShift, see User roles mapping in Engineering Lifecycle Management on Hybrid Cloud.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform web console.
  2. From the side navigation menu, click Operators > OperatorHub. On the OperatorHub page, from the Project list, click Create Project.
  3. In the Create Project dialog box, in the Name field, enter the name of the project.
  4. Optional: In the Display Name and Description fields, Enter the project display name and description.
  5. Click Create.
    The project is created in the Red Hat OpenShift.
