Publishing external automation services
To reuse an automation service that was created outside IBM Business Automation Studio, you create an external automation service and publish an IBM Business Automation Workflow or OpenAPI external automation service. The service operations can then be discovered and reused easily.
Deploying external automation services
Whether you're using a test, staging, or production environment, you must deploy external automation services to Business Automation Navigator so they can be used by your business application (application) or workflow automation at run time.
Managing external automation services
Managing external automation services in Business Automation Navigator includes deleting and disabling external automation services. You can also update the service resources, which control the connection to the external IBM Business Automation Workflow.
External automation services security considerations
You can use business automations (automations) that are external to Cloud Pak for Business Automation. Before you create and call these external automations, review the following security considerations.
