You work on decision services in decision automations. Each decision automation is linked
to a remote Git repository (remote repository), and team members can work collaboratively through
the repository.
About this task
When you create a decision automation in IBM Business Automation Studio, a branch is also created by default. You can
also create another branch after your decision automation is connected to a remote repository, and
make it the current branch of the decision automation.
Branches isolate changes specific to an objective, for example, a product
release, a promotional period, or a trial version that has a limited delivery scope.
Procedure
-
Log in to your instance of Business Automation Studio.
- Click the navigation menu in the upper left corner of the portal
page.
- Expand Design, and click
Business automations.
-
Click Create, and then select Decision
automations.
- Enter a name and purpose for the decision automation, and click
Create. Decision Designer
opens with the decision automation.
Notice that a branch that is created by default is the current branch for your decision
automation.
- Optional: Go back to Business Automation Studio and explore each tab in your decision
automation.
When you click Decision on the Business automations
page, you see a list of decision automations in the Decision automations
section on the right. The decision automation that you created is now listed in this section. Click
your decision automation and check each tab for your decision automation:
