Importing and exporting decision services
Not only can you create decision services from scratch, but you can also import decision services, and export them from decision automations in Decision Designer.
Importing decision services
You use the New decision service wizard to import existing decision services, as well as decision modeling projects from IBM Operational Decision Manager and Decision Composer. You can import .zip and .dproject files. These files can contain multiple decision services.
- Click the New decision button on your automation page.
- Select Import decision service and click Browse to select a file on your machine.
- Click Import.
Importing samples from the Samples library
A library of samples is available in Decision Designer to help you learn how to build and use decision services.
Samples that use predictive models need a global machine learning provider called Sample Machine Learning Provider. You must configure this provider before you import these samples. For more information, see Configuring global machine learning providers.
- Click the New decision button on your automation page.
A collection of samples is available in the Discovery tutorials and Industry samples tabs. The samples under Discovery tutorials are designed to help get you started in Automation Decision Services. The samples under Industry samples allow you to discover decision services tailored for specific business applications.
- Select the sample that you want to import and click Import.
Exporting decision services
The Export feature creates a .zip file with all the decision services contained in an automation.
To download the content of an automation, click the Export icon
in the menu bar at the top of your
automation.
