Displaying data in charts

From the Visualizations tab, define how you want to display data. Depending on your measurement, you can add labels and define the values of a range.

About this task

Tip: If you want to be able to see group-by data as columns, select a visualization as a table. For a list of chart types and measurements, see Chart measurements and aggregations

Procedure

  1. For a key performance indicator (KPI), define the upper (Max) and lower (Min) limits for the gauge.
  2. Enter a name for the unit you want to measure in the Unit field.
The unit name helps you quickly identify the units of measurement that you are displaying in your chart.
  3. For a data table, add a column: pie chart
Then, select a data item and enter a label name. You can add multiple data columns and reorder them.

What to do next

The visualization panel automatically refreshes to display the selected data.
