Using the IBM Counter Fraud Management interface

The Counter Fraud user interface provides built-in roles and processes that are needed to triage, investigate, analyze, compile, and disposition fraud investigations. Multiple user roles participate in this workflow.

  • ICFM user interface overview
    You access the IBM® Counter Fraud Management features through your web browser. The pages that you can access are determined by the role that you are assigned. For example, triage analysts, investigators, and supervisors can view and edit investigations through the pages in the Investigative console.
  • About user roles
    Review descriptions of roles that are predefined in the IBM Counter Fraud Management solution. User roles determine which in-baskets you can access and which actions you can perform.
  • About state transitions
    As an investigation moves through its lifecycle, the state of the investigation changes. The users who can edit the investigation and the available actions depend on the current state.
  • Using the ICFM investigative console
    Use the ICFM investigative console to triage incoming alerts, create investigations, analyze business objects associated with an investigation, and more. Installed with ICFM, the investigative interface is accessible by users with Investigator, Supervisor, and Triage Analyst roles. Note that users can be assigned to one or more roles and teams.
  • Using the ICFM administrative console
    Use the ICFM administrative console to configure and manage the resources within your ICFM environment. Installed with ICFM, the administrative interface is accessible only by users with an Administrator role. Tasks include managing analysis flows, business object authorization, UI configuration, and more.
