Card view

Card view provides card containers for business object information that is related to an investigation.

The Card view is available on the Details page. Use the Filter icon Filter to control the types of data that you want to display in the cards. For example, you can show and hide business object types, such as accounts, events, and transactions. If the investigation does not have data of a particular type, the filter for that type is not displayed.

1  Switch views to change how business objects are displayed. The default views are Card, Map, Network Graph, and Relationships. If the selected investigation has no relationships, the Relationships link is disabled.

2  Each card includes a business object type identifier, business object type name, and the number of business objects that are currently displayed in that card.

3  Select More Actions icon More Actions in the upper right edge of a card to perform tasks for selected business objects on the card. For example, check the check circle button for one or more business objects on a card to pin/unpin an investigation, suggest/recover pins, or create/edit business objects. Actions in the list differ depending on the number of business objects selected (none, one, or multiple), or whether the investigation is locked by another user (limited actions available). You can also Maximize maximize a card when you want to focus on a specific business object type.

4  The taskbar contains actions that you can perform, including Create Investigation icon Create Investigation, Tasks icon Tasks, Details icon Details, and Filter icon Filter icons. For information about these tasks, see Related tasks at the end of this topic.

5  Displays primary properties for this business object. To obtain secondary information about a business object in a card, click the properties area of a business object (highlighted in blue) to display the Details flyout pane.

6  The icons along the right side of a card provide information about the business object. You can hover over an icon to see its meaning. For example:
  • References icon References indicates the number of times the business object is referenced in other investigations.
  • Copy to edit icon indicates that the business object is non-editable. You must make a copy of it before you can edit its contents (More Actions > Copy Business Object).
  • Pinned by the analytic icon indicates a pin that is created by an analytic that you can unpin (disassociate) from the investigation. You can recover unpinned business objects that were originally pinned by an analytic.
  • Permanently pinned by the analytic icon indicates a permanent pin that is created by an analytic that you cannot unpin from the investigation.
  • Pinned by a user icon indicates that the business object was pinned to the investigation by a user and that you can unpin it.
