Creating a campaign in FCI

Use the following procedure to create a campaign specific to the Fast Campaign Integration.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have built a email template in Acoustic Campaign. For more information about building a email template, see Building email templates

Ensure that you have created a database template in Acoustic Campaign. For more information about creating a database template, see Creating a database template for FCI

About this task

Each campaign has a business objective, a corporate-defined initiative specific to your marketing plan, and a date range during which the campaign is effective.

Procedure

  1. Select Campaign > Campaigns.

    The All campaigns page displays the folders or campaigns in the current partition.

  2. Designate the folder that this campaign is to be associated with.
  3. Click Add campaign .
  4. Complete the Campaign summary fields on the New campaign page. It is best practice to prefix the name of your campaign with the acronym FCI. This makes the campaigns distinguishable from others in the partition.
    Choose Help > Help for this page to see explanations of each field.
  5. Click Save and add a flowchart to immediately start creating a flowchart for the campaign.
