Managing pending approvals

If you are assigned to approval groups, you must approve an email before it is sent. If you reject the email, it isn't sent.

About this task

Note: Each message requires approval of only one person in the approval group.

To accept or reject an email that is pending, do the following steps.

Procedure

  1. On the Pending Approval tab, select the email name that requires approval.
  2. Click Approve or Reject.

    The email name no longer appears in your list of messages that require approval, and no longer appears on the sender's Scheduled tab. Depending on your response, one of the following happens:

    • If you approve, the email is sent as scheduled.
    • If you reject the email, enter the reason for rejection in the dialog box and click OK. The Preview reappears, and an email notification is sent to the message sender.
