Embedding an .ics file from Outlook into an email

You can embed an .ics file from Microsoft Outlook into an email.

Before you begin

You must upload the calendar file format .ics into the asset library before you can embed the file into your email template.

Procedure

  1. Open the asset library.
  2. Hover over Import and click File.
  3. Choose the .ics file and upload it into the asset library.
  4. Open your email template.
  5. Highlight the text and click Insert Link.
  6. On the links tab, under link properties, click File Download.
  7. Click Select file and select your uploaded file from the asset library.
    This action allows your customers to download the .ics file.
