Adding email templates and messages by using the web UI

You can use the WSRR web UI to add email template configuration items.

About this task

You can add email templates to your profile by extracting the templates from the ServiceManagementProfile_v85.zip or GovernanceEnablementProfile_v85.zip file, and pasting them into your configuration profile.

Procedure

  1. Extract the file WAS_INSTALL_ROOT/WSRR/config/ServiceManagementProfile_v85.zip or WAS_INSTALL_ROOT/WSRR/config/GovernanceEnablementProfile_v85.zip to your file system.
  2. Log in to the WSRR web UI.
  3. Switch to the Configuration perspective.
  4. Select Active Profile E-mail Notifications.
  5. Click Load E-mail Configuration.
  6. Click Browse and, from the location you extracted the profile file to, browse to the folder EMAIL_TEMPLATE.
  7. Select the file EMailTemplate.EMail.Owner.txt and click OK to close the browse window.
  8. In Provide the E-mail configuration item name, enter EMailTemplate.EMail.Owner.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Repeat steps 5 to 9, select the file EMailTemplate.EMail.Consumers.txt and name the item EMailTemplate.EMail.Consumers.

Adding email messages by using the web UI

You can use the WSRR web UI to update EMailMessages.properties configuration items.

About this task

To update the email messages, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Extract the file WAS_INSTALL_ROOT/WSRR/config/ServiceManagementProfile_v85.zip or WAS_INSTALL_ROOT/WSRR/config/GovernanceEnablementProfile_v85.zip to your file system.
  2. Log in to the WSRR web UI.
  3. Switch to the Configuration perspective.
  4. Select Active Profile > E-mail Notifications.
  5. Click EMailMessages to edit the email messages for the default locale.
  6. From where you extracted the profile file, browse to the folder EMAIL_TEMPLATE, and open the file EMailMessages.properties.
  7. From the extracted file EMailMessages.properties, copy the following messages into the EMailMessages configuration item:
    • notification_notify_message
    • notification_notify_reason
    • notification_notify_subject
    • notification_contact_message
    • notification_contact_reason
    • notification_contact_subject
    • notification_select_link
    • notification_unsure
    • notification_business
    • notification_soagovernance
    • notification_development
    • notification_operations
    • notification_servicecatalog
  8. In the WSRR web UI, click OK to save changes to the EMailMessages item.
  9. Repeat steps 5 to 8 for each different language message file.
