Enabling Java applets

About this task

Before you can add a Java applet to a Domino® or Notes® application, you must set up your workstation.

Procedure

  1. If you want to link to applets on the Web, make sure your Location document specifies a valid Web proxy. See your system administrator if you have questions about setting up a Web proxy.
  2. Choose File - Preferences - User Preferences.
  3. In the Basics tab, scroll down the Advanced Options list and select "Enable Java applets."
    Note: If "Enable Java applets" is not listed, check with your system administrator.
  4. Click OK.
