Reporting with Jazz Reporting Service and Engineering Insights (Engineering Insights)

You can use JRS Report Builder and IBM® Engineering Lifecycle Optimization Engineering Insights to report on Rhapsody® model artifacts and traceability between architecture elements and other artifacts, such as requirements managed by DOORS® Next. The Tracked Resource Set (TRS) feed of RMM provides data to the Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE), and Report Builder and Engineering Insights query LQE for this data.

The following are the main use cases that are supported by the Rhapsody Model Manager JRS Reporting. For more information, see Rhapsody Model Manager - JRS Reporting.

  1. Get the total number of RMM Architecture Elements that have links (by type) to Requirements in Doors Next in configuration-managed projects.
  2. Run report for configuration-managed projects by specifying a single global configuration or for non-configuration-managed projects by filtering the report by project area.
  3. Get the ratio of RMM Architecture Elements with and without links (by type) to Requirements in Doors Next.
  4. Get the total number and ratio of RMM Architecture Elements with links to Test cases in ETM.
  5. Get the total number and ratio of RMM Architecture Elements with links to Work items in EWM.
  6. Start the traceability report with RMM Architecture Elements from Other domains' artifacts: Requirement, Test Case, or Work Item
  7. Go from the resulted report to the RMM web client by clicking the architecture element URI
  8. See Architecture Element preview on hovering on one of the RMM Architecture Elements in the resulted report.
  9. Filter report by an architecture element type (for example Class, Package, and so on)
  10. Filter report by a link type (for example Trace, Validated By, Elaborates, and so on)
  11. Show additional properties (for example Last modified, Flow Port Direction, and so on) of the reported architecture elements.
  12. Filter reports by a value of additional properties (for example Last modified, Flow Port Direction, and so on) of the reported architecture elements.
  13. Report on internal Rhapsody relations (for example Dependencies, Generalizations, and so on)
