Subscribing to assets or forums by using RSS

You can subscribe to assets and forums to receive automatic notification of updates.

You must first download and install an RSS feed reader. You can use any available feed reader.

RSS is a quick, easy, and lightweight format for monitoring new or updated content. An RSS feed uses XML-formatted files to deliver content that you then access with an RSS Reader. RSS feeds provide the title of a new piece of content, such as an asset or forum update, a description of the new content, and a link to the content. Feeds are updated daily.

You can receive the following types of updates by using RSS.

Assets:

  • The asset is submitted or updated
  • The state of an asset changes throughout the review process
  • A relationship is added to the asset
  • A new version of the asset is created
  • The artifacts of the asset change

Forums: You receive notification when an asset forum, topic, or post is created, updated, or deleted.
