Creating user license reports

You can create user license reports to view the use of the licenses.

Before you begin

To create a user license report, you must be a repository administrator.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the web application.
  2. Click Administration.
  3. In the Repository Administration sidebar, click License Management.
  4. Click the Download button to create the report.

Results

A report in .csv format is available for you to save or open. The following table describes the columns that the report contains:

Column name Description
Userid The unique ID of each user on the report
In use count The number of sessions on your server
Master The name of the server that applies for and maintains the licenses of users in the organization
Slaves The names of the rest of servers when users in the organization are assigned a license on master server

Operations on these servers do not consume extra licenses.
Feature The type of license that your server is assigned
The values are among the following list:
eeConsumerToken
Token based consumer license
eePublisherToken
Token based publisher license
eeConsumerCAL
Authorized consumer license
authorizedPublisherCAL
Authorized publisher license
eeConsumerFloatingCAL
Consumer floating license
eePublisherFloatingCAL
Publisher floating license
Feature count The numeric value means the number of licenses that your server is assigned. The value remote means that the user is operating on slave server without consuming extra licenses.
