Agile planning
The main goal of agile planning is having as much of the "known" work as possible on the table and visible to all.
Agile development is a software design and development methodology that uses many fixed-duration development length called iterations throughout the lifecycle of the project. At the end of the iteration, how much work was actually completed is compared to what was planned (velocity), and this information helps determine how much work to plan for the next iteration. Use the Scrum process template or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) process templates to support agile development.
Note: The agile planning tools use only the plan item and execution item types. Therefore, all work
item types not marked as plan items are execution items.
