Selecting a configuration for a view

You can select the configuration for a view.

About this task

You can select a configuration when you create a view or by going to the Properties section for an existing view. For more information about configurations, see Getting started with configuration management.

Procedure

  1. Open a view.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. In the View properties menu, in the General section, in the Configuration context field, click the pencil icon to select the configuration. By default, the current configuration value is used for the view.
  4. In the Select configuration context box, select the configuration.
  5. Click Ok.
    In view mode, if the configuration context is set in the view, you can click the link provided in the information message to switch the view temporarily and use the current configuration context.
