Set up a folder to organize a group of views. You can add your own
top-level folders or subfolders in the My
views page. You can add top-level folders or
subfolders for your team in the Shared
views page.
Procedure

Open the Views
page.
- Go to the location where you want to create the folder, either private or shared, for
example, My views
.

Click the Create folder icon.
- In the Folder dialog box, specify a name and the description for the
folder, and then click Create.
Important: Access of moving and deleting folders from the
Shared views folder is restricted. Only folder creators can complete the
following operations:
- Move the folders from the Shared views folder and its subfolders to other
locations (My views and subfolders of Shared views
folder).
- Delete the folders from the Shared views folder and its subfolders.
If you are not a folder creator and try to move or delete the folders, an error message is
shown.
Tip: On hovering over a view folder, the
Create folder and
Create view actions are displayed.
- Click Create folder to add a folder within the selected view
folder.
- Click Create view to create a view inside the selected folder.
Example
A team that is working on the HeartValve product is ready to develop their
next product, HeartValve-2. Several views are created to
support the new product. The product manager creates top-level folders that are called
HeartValve release 2.0 in the Shared views
page so the team knows which views
to focus on.
