Deploying Designer and Toolkit integrations to integration servers

From your App Connect Dashboard instance, you can deploy both Designer and Toolkit integrations to integration servers. App Connect Dashboard provides a runtime environment for hosting production workloads.

About this task

To deploy a Designer integration, you can use one or more BAR files from any of these environments:

A broker archive (BAR) file that you exported from an App Connect Designer instance in your cluster or from an App Connect on IBM® Cloud service instance
A BAR file that you developed as a hybrid by using both App Connect Designer (or App Connect on IBM Cloud) and IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit

To deploy a Toolkit integration, you can use one or more BAR files that were developed by using the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit.

You can upload, store, and manage BAR files in your App Connect Dashboard instance, and can create integration servers to run the BAR files that are stored in the content server for the Dashboard or in an external repository. You can also view information about the integrations that are packaged in the deployed BAR files.
