Progress Status Interval
Use this system parameter to set how often (in seconds) CDC Replication issues progress notifications. CDC Replication generates notifications on the source and target and these provide information about replication activities.
Versions supported—CDC Replication Engine for Db2® for i version 6.1 and later
On the source instance, progress notifications identify the following items:
- The bookmark sent by the source
- The corresponding log name
- The subscription name to which the bookmark was sent
On the target instance, progress notifications identify the following items:
- The bookmark received by the target
- The corresponding log name
- The source ID from which the bookmark was received
CDC Replication places progress notifications in the Event Log.
