Setting connection preferences
You can set the Access Server default port, specify the number of ports for Access Server, and choose whether you want to connect to datastores automatically after logging in to Management Console.
- Access Server Default Port
- The Access Server default port is a unique TCP/IP number that is used to connect to Access Server. You specify this port number when you install Access Server and when you log in to Management Console.
- Enable Firewall Settings
- The starting port number, and number of ports you require to go through a firewall to Access Server. The following ports are required: two for connection to Management Console; and two for each datastore associated with your Management Console user.
- Connect to Datastores Automatically
- When enabled, automatically connects to datastores after logging into Management Console. When disabled, you are required to manually connect to each datastore after logging in.
