Giving access to datastores

A user cannot connect to a datastore unless their user account has been assigned to the specific datastore.

In the Access Manager perspective of Management Console using either the Datastore Management view, the User Management view, or the Connection Management view, you can either assign a datastore to a user, or you can assign a user to a datastore.

Both methods create the required relationship between a datastore and a user. Users require this relationship to connect to a datastore.

A datastore represents the CDC Replication instance.
