Database clustering

CDC Replication supports Oracle Real Application Clustering (RAC) and SQL Server Clustering.

Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
To deploy CDC Replication in an Oracle RAC environment, you can install the product on one node in the cluster or on a system outside of the cluster.
Configuring CDC Replication in a RAC environment
CDC Replication can be installed in a node which is part of the Oracle RAC, or it might be installed on a node outside of the RAC environment.
Microsoft SQL Server clustering
You can configure CDC Replication to operate and failover in a Microsoft SQL Server clustered environment.
MSCS (Microsoft Cluster Service) support for the CDC Replication Engine for DB2 for LUW
You can configure CDC Replication to operate and failover in an MSCS (Microsoft Cluster Service) clustered environment.
DB2 for z/OS data sharing groups
The CDC Replication Engine for DB2® for z/OS® can operate in DB2 subsystems that are part of a data sharing group.
