Using custom data in polling

You can poll a set of network devices based on custom data.

To define a polling scope based on custom data, complete the following steps.

  1. Create a network view based on the custom data that you want to use. Refer to the task Visualizing custom data in the topology views for more information.
  2. Create or edit a poll policy. Specify the new network view as the scope for the poll policy.
