View organization details

You need to know your organization's details, including your facility ID, organization ID, organization prefix, and service URL to use all of the features available to you in Transparent Supply. You can view your organization's details and request a GS1 prefix addition with the Organization component in Transparent Supply.

To get started, click Organization from the side menu. Your organization details are displayed.

Organization details

You can view the following information about your organization:

Organization

  • Organization name
    Displays the name that is registered for your organization.
  • Organization ID
    Displays the identifier that is associated with your organization. Click the eye icon ("") to reveal the identifier.
  • Service URL
    Displays the service URL for your organization. You must use this URL to use Transparent Supply APIs.

Organization headquarters

  • Facility name
    Displays the name that is registered for your headquarters.
  • Facility ID
    Displays the identifier that is associated with your headquarters.
  • Address
    Displays the address that is registered for your headquarters.

Add an organization prefix

You can view a list of the Organization prefix and Prefix type currently associated with your organization and request a GS1 prefix addition.

You can request the addition of a GS1 prefix to your organization:
  1. Click Add GS1 prefix +.
  2. Enter the GS1 prefixes.
  3. Click Submit. IBM responds to your request within one business day.

Register headquarters

You must register your headquarters before you upload data to Transparent Supply. Click Organization from the side menu to get started.
  1. Click Register headquarters.
  2. Complete the form:
    • Enter your Facility name.
    • Enter your Company prefix.
    • Enter your Facility ID or click Construct Transparent Supply facility identifier to generate an identifier.
    • Enter the Street address.
    • Enter the City.
    • Enter the State or province.
    • Enter the Postal code.
    • Select the Country or region.
    • Enter the Latitude.
    • Enter the Longitude.
  3. Click Register to complete the process.
