Register products

Register the products that your company owns to properly use Transparent Supply. Transparent Supply requires that all products that are referenced in events and transactions are defined in Transparent Supply by registering an identifier for the product.

Products that have a GS1 Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) must be defined in Transparent Supply with the GTIN as the identifier. Products that do not have a GTIN must be registered by using an IBM Product Identifier.
