Installing the SAP Cryptographic Library

Install the SAP Cryptographic Library on SAP Application Server. It secures the SAP ArchiveLink interface.

Before you begin

See the SAP note 397175 for possible export restrictions.

Procedure

  1. Download the SAP Cryptographic Library from the SAP Service Marketplace and save it to your SAP run-time directory.
  2. Extract the content of the package to the bin directory of your Collector Server installation. On Windows, the default path is InstallHome\server\bin.
  3. If you plan to configure an HTTPS connection between Collector Server and IBM® Content Navigator or between Collector Server and SAP, also complete these steps:
    1. Copy the supplied ticket file to the appropriate sapinstance\sec directory.
      sapinstance specifies the instance of SAP Application Server.
    2. Add the fully qualified path to the Cryptographic Library to the profile of your SAP instance.
