The add-ons package must be installed by the application
administrator on a Windows 32-bit
operating system or a Windows 64-bit
operating system.
Procedure
- Log on as application administrator
on the system where you want to install the add-ons package.
- Insert the product DVD and then change
to the Windows32 directory on the DVD.
- On a command prompt, enter the following command to install
IBM® Installation Manager and the
add-ons package:

The add-ons package is preselected.

Select your license type. Then, select Next. |
| Summary |
You can verify your specifications.
Then, select Install. If you want to generate
only a response file for a silent installation of the add-ons package,
select Generate an Installation Response File and
follow the instructions on the console. Then, select Cancel to
cancel the installation

Notes:
- An installation path can contain ASCII characters only. Other characters, such as
native-language characters, are not supported.
- An installation path must not contain any blanks. In addition, it must not exist.

After the installation, verify that the installation was successful. Then, select
Finish.
If an error occurs, view the log file.
Results
IBM Installation Manager and
the contents of the add-ons package are installed. If you requested
only a response file, the response file is created with the specified
file name in the specified path.
