Accessing your cluster by using the console

You can access your console from a supported web browser.
Procedure

Get the URL to access the Administration panel.
You can get the IBM Cloud Pak console route for accessing the Administration panel by running the following command:
oc get route -n <your-foundational-services-namespace> <route name> -o jsonpath='{.spec.host}' && echoReplace
<route name>withcpdorcp-console.The response is your
<https://<cluster_address>.<cluster_address>is the IBM Cloud Pak console route.Following is a sample output:
<route name>.apps.mycluster.mydomain.comBased on the example output, your console URL would be
https://<route name_address>/zen/#/homepage. -
Access your cluster from a web browser. For a list of supported browsers, see Supported browsers.

Log in to the console. You might have different authentication types available for you to select from to authenticate your user credentials.
The default username to access the console is
cpadmin.You can get the password for the
cpadminusername by running the following command:oc -n <your-foundational-services-namespace> get secret platform-auth-idp-credentials -o jsonpath='{.data.admin_password}' | base64 -d && echoFollowing is a sample output:

EwK9dj9fwPZHyHTyu9TyIgh9klZSzVsAas the password.You can change the default password at any time. For more information, see Changing the administrator password.
Note: Any user with access to the
foundational-servicesnamespace can retrieve this password since it’s stored in a secret in thefoundational-servicesnamespace. To minimize password exposure, allow limited users to access thefoundational-servicesnamespace.
