IBM Records Manager engine configuration

The Engine Configuration tool provides an interface to help you create new data sources, modify information about existing data sources, delete data sources and modify connection information.

Run the Engine Configuration tool to modify the settings specified during the installation process.
  1. Start the Engine Configuration tool.
    Option Description
    Windows®

    In the directory where you installed the IBM® Records Manager engine, run the script EngineConfiguration.bat.

    UNIX®

    In the folder where the IBM Records Manager engine is installed, run EngineConfiguration.sh.

  2. Enter your IBM WebSphere® Application Server credentials and click OK. You can find this information in the WebSphere Application Server administrative console. Choose Servers > Application servers, click the name of your server in the servers list, and click the Runtime tab to display your WebSphere Application Server credentials.
  3. Proceed with creating a data source.
