Getting started

You will receive help from IBM in getting started with IBM Sterling e-Invoicing. The following table shows the general sequence of steps in the onboarding process. The columns on the right show who performs the task: a designated person from IBM or your company administrator. The steps after the table correspond to the steps in the table and provide additional information.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Optional: You can work with IBM to complete a compliance assessment of your e-Invoicing process. See Compliance Assessment for information on the compliance assessment.
  2. IBM sends you a Welcome Letter and questionnaire.
  3. You send the completed questionnaire to IBM.
    IBM grants you access to IBM Sterling e-Invoicing.
  4. Complete country-specific steps:
    1. Onboarding process for Italy
  5. If you are using the IBM Sterling e-Invoicing archive service, see the Archive and audit services.
  6. You can now send e-Invoices to IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS just as you send other documents to be processed.
