SIPN FIN component structure

Figure 1 shows the components used to transfer individual FIN messages via the SIPN. These components include:
  • An application that sends FIN messages and receives the corresponding acknowledgments
  • An application that receives FIN messages
  • The FTM SWIFT components used to process FIN business messages and operator commands:
    • The interface layer, which provides services implemented as message flows
    • The processing database, which consists of database tables used to store configuration data, messages to be processed, information collected for audit and evaluation purposes, and information about the states of messages and components.
    • A SWIFTNet FIN Daemon (SFD), which is a long-running process used to implement a SWIFTNet FIN LT session
  • An SAG, which serves as an interface to the SIPN
