Configuring the RM transfer service

The RM transfer service provides means to:
  • Send RMA messages to a correspondent via a messaging interface
  • Receive RMA messages from a correspondent via a messaging interface
  • Synchronize RM data among several FTM SWIFT instances
Notes:
  1. Before you begin to configure the RM transfer service, make sure that you carry out the following steps:
    • Completely configure an SAG as described in Preparing to configure and configuring SAGs. This entails configuring, among other things:
      • An MQ connection
      • A certificate list for the SAG to use
      • Two message partners (one for file and message transfer requests and one for events) that do not use LAU keys
      • Two endpoints (one for the message partner that handles file and message transfer requests and one for the message partner that handles events)
    • Set the SWIFTNet user and security information as described in Managing SWIFTNet users and SWIFTNet security.
  2. For clarity, some of the command examples in the following sections show parameters on different lines. When you enter these commands, you must enter them and their parameters all on one line.
