Configuring SIPN FIN resources for use with FMT FIN

Whether you need to configure SIPN FIN resources for use with FMT FIN, and if so, which resources you must configure, depends on whether you intend to use both the SIPN FIN and FMT FIN services, and whether the FMT FIN service is to authenticate messages:
  • If you intend to use both the SIPN FIN and FMT FIN services, follow the procedures listed in Configuring SIPN FIN services if you have not already done so.
  • If you intend to use the FMT FIN service, but not the SIPN FIN service:
    1. Import application service profile data as described in Importing and updating ASP data.
    2. Follow the procedure described in Configuring a master LT, but before running the copy of the dnfcfcco.cli script:
      • Delete or deactivate (by placing a semicolon at the beginning of) all lines except the following lines:
add -ou DNIvOU -ct DnfLTApplicationSettings -co <ltname> -attr send
add -ou DNIvOU -ct DnfLTApplicationSettings -co <ltname> -attr Queue -val <applicationQ>
add -ou DNIvOU -ct DnfLTApplicationSettings -co <ltname> -attr QueueManager -val <applicationQM>
        com -ou DNIvOU

add -ou DNFSYSOU -ct DnfLTMap -co <ltname> -attr OU -val DNIvOU
        com -ou DNFSYSOU
      • If a special ExceptionOptionSet is to be used for this LT, activate (by removing the semicolon from the beginning of) the line
;add -ou DNIvOU -ct DnfLTApplicationSettings -co <ltname> -attr ExceptionOptionSet -val <exceptionOS>
  • If you plan to use exception queues, follow the procedure described in procedure described in Configuring exception queues for FIN messages
