SAG structure

Each SAG contains:
  • SWIFTNet Link (SNL) software, which is required to access the SIPN
  • MQ Host Adapter (MQHA) software, which provides connectivity between the SAG and IBM MQ
An SAG can be configured so that it processes the business messages of any number of OUs.

FTM SWIFT supplements each SWIFT SAG with its own additional component called an SAG Add-On. The SAG Add-On integrates the SAG into the FTM SWIFT environment. It also handles the messages that are created as a result of CLI commands to configure, operate, and monitor the SAG.

Figure 1 shows an SAG and the FTM SWIFT services with which it communicates.
