OAMS Administration Utility commands

Use the OAMS Administration Utility to manage the outbound application-message store (OAMS). You must have run your FTM SWIFT profile to issue OAMS Administration Utility commands, for example:
. /var/ftmswift_v324/run/dniprofile
The procedure to identify and delete records from the outbound application-message store includes the following steps:
  1. Run the OAMS Administration Utility dnfcaoma to get a list of messages that are stored in the OAMS. Make sure that you redirect the output list to a file. See the description for the list command command for further details.
  2. View the list of messages to identify the messages to be deleted.
  3. Ensure that you closed the LT for which you want to delete messages.
  4. If you configured LT groups, ensure that you closed all the LTs that have the same destination as the LT for which you want to delete messages.
  5. Run the OAMS Administration Utility dnfcaoma to delete the messages from the OAMS. See the description for the delete command command for further details.

Information about number of messages to be deleted and the actual messages which were deleted is written to the FTM SWIFT event log. For more information, see Event log entries. The information about deleted records is also written to the message audit log. For more information, see Message audit entries.
