Authorisations
An authorisation is an entity that authorizes one BIC to send messages to or receive messages from a correspondent BIC for a particular service. Each authorisation is unidirectional and can be specified to apply only to certain message types or categories.
Each authorisation is of one of the following types:
- Authorisation to send (toSnd)
- An authorisation that authorizes your BIC to send messages to the correspondent BIC for a particular service.
- Authorisation to receive (toRcv)
- An authorisation that authorizes your BIC to receive messages from the correspondent BIC for a particular service.
RM authorization are now centrally stored and managed in the SWIFT Relationship Management portal and need to be imported into the FTM SWIFT relationship management data store. The FTM SWIFT RMA application still can be used to view the current relationship information available.
