Events that must be addressed
Event messages issued by the MSIF transfer service have
IDs of one of the following forms:
- DNFOnnnnE
- A message ID that ends with E indicates that an error occurred that requires a user action.
- DNFOnnnnI
- A message ID that ends with I indicates that no error occurred, or that an error from which FTM SWIFT can automatically recover occurred. Usually, no user action is required; however, some messages with this classification might require action.
Table 1 lists
the event messages that indicate situations that typically require
an MSIF administrator or operator to take immediate corrective action.

Some error messages do not themselves exhaustively describe
an error, but instead refer to another error message that provides
additional information about the nature of the error. The timestamps
and message groups of these two messages are identical, and can be
used to correlate these two messages. For example:
