Managing accounting data
To determine the total number of messages that a service
processed or the total amount of data that a service transferred during
a particular period, you must collect and list accounting data. How
you do this depends on the services for which accounting data is to
be collected:
- SIPN FIN or FMT FIN
- For SIPN FIN and FMT FIN, start the collecting of accounting data as described in Collecting accounting data for the SIPN FIN and FMT FIN services.
- List accounting data as described in list (list accounting information).
- MSIF
- You do not need to take any steps to start the collection of accounting data. This data is recorded automatically as soon as you begin using the service.
- List accounting data as described in list (list accounting information).
To avoid storage problems, periodically use the del command to delete obsolete accounting information, as described in del (delete accounting information).
