Managing Security Entities

Security entities, like users, roles and role groups, can be managed with the AO Facility Security component (see Security).

Note: This activity requires that you have at least one role that grants the minimum access rights for the Security component, as described in Table 1.
To manage security entities:
  1. Select Security from the navigation pane. Actions in the Security pane can be invoked by selecting the corresponding entity from the user list or the role list and then either selecting the action from the pop-up menu or clicking the corresponding button in the toolbar.
  2. Follow one of the procedures described in the following sections.
    Note: You can only edit and delete custom roles and role groups, but no predefined entities. For more information refer to Predefined Entities.
