Managing RuleApps

This tutorial shows you how to manage RuleApps by using the Rule Execution Server console, REST API, and Apache Ant tasks.

Before you start
Prepare for the tutorial by reading its description, and checking the audience and prerequisites.
Task 1: Checking the Rule Execution Server console
You check that the Rule Execution Server console is running, and you take a tour of the different tabs. Then, you run the diagnostics.
Task 2: Deploying a RuleApp by using the REST API
You build the RuleApps using the Build Command tool, and then you deploy a RuleApp by using the REST API.
Task 3: Testing the ruleset
You test the ruleset in the Rule Execution Server console.
Task 4: Deploying a RuleApp by using the Rule Execution Server console
You deploy a RuleApp update by using the the Rule Execution Server console.
Task 5: Working with RuleApp archives by using Ant tasks
You use Ant tasks to deploy, undeploy, and obtain a RuleApp archive in tRule Execution Server.
