Services that support backup and restore
This information describes which IBM® Cloud Pak for Data components and services support backup and restore.
The following table shows which backup and restore method that Cloud Pak for Data components and services support. If a service is installed and it supports the backup method that you choose, the service is backed up.
- Supports online backups

This column shows which components and services support online backup and restore with Container Storage Interface (CSI) snapshots.
- Supports offline backups

This column shows which components and services support offline backup and restore with CSI snapshots or Restic backups.
- Supports volume snapshots

If you are using Portworx storage, this column shows which components and services support volume backup and restore with Portworx snapshots.
