Restoring a Db2 database

You can restore your Db2® database on Cloud Pak for Data either from an offline backup or online backup.

Restrictions:

Only rollforward to end of backup is supported. Rollforward to a generic point in time (a point in time after the backup was taken) or end-of-logs is not supported.
Table space level backup and restore is not supported.

Note: To restore the database in a different deployment or cluster, ensure that you export the encryption keystore with your backup images.
