Upgrading from 1.1.4 or later versions (K3s)
If your current installed version is 1.1.4 or later, you can upgrade it on K3s clusters by running a script that retrieves the required images from an accessible image registry and upgrades the application.
You can upgrade from 1.1.4 or later versions on connected or air-gapped K3s clusters.
If your cluster is connected to the internet, the images are downloaded from IBM® Container Registry during the upgrade.
If your cluster is air-gapped (disconnected), you must separately download a product package that contains the images. You transfer the package to your air-gapped environment, expand it, and load the images into a private container registry. This registry is used as the image source for the upgrade.
