Frame Information

There are two types of frame minor commands: one for areas of virtual storage, and one for RSM's internal queues.

An F in the argument field of the virtual storage area frame minor commands displays the number of fixed frames. For example, FTOT displays the total frames in the system; FTOTF displays the total fixed frames in the system. For the RSM internal queue frame minor commands, the F operand has no meaning.

The frame information minor commands of SYS display the real frames that back up virtual storage.

DFRS

Displays number of deferred frame allocations.

FAFQ

Displays available RSM internal queue frames.

FAVL

Displays available RSM internal queue frames.

FBDF

Displays Bottom Double (BDF) RSM internal queue frames.

Real storage frames used for segment table entries.

FBLD

Displays BLDL list frames.

FCOM

Displays common area frames.

This includes all CSA, SQA, LPA, and nucleus frames less than 16 MB.

FCSA

Displays Common Service Area (CSA) frames.

FDFF

Displays RSM internal deferred FREEMAIN queue frames.

FDRF

Displays the number of DREF frames in real storage.

FDRF displays data in K. You can add a plot of data by using the plot character c before the command.

FDSM

Displays storage being used by the system for data space management.

FDSM accepts a plot character in column 1.

FDSM displays the number of frames followed by the storage amount in kilobytes.

FDSP

Displays real storage in use by data spaces.

FDSP accepts a plot character in column 1.

This command displays the number of frames followed by the storage amount in kilobytes.

FECM

Displays extended common area frames.

This includes all CSA, SQA, LPA, etc. more than 16 MB.

FECS

Displays extended Common Service Area (CSA) frames.

FEFL

Displays extended Fixed Link Pack Area (FLPA) frames.

FELS

Displays extended Local System Queue Area (LSQA) frames.

FEML

Displays extended Modified Link Pack Area (MLPA) frames.

FEPL

Displays extended Pageable Link Pack Area (PLPA) frames.

FEPV

Displays extended private area frames.

FERO

Displays extended read-only nucleus frames.

FERW

Displays extended read/write nucleus frames.
